As per WaBetaInfo (@wabetainfo), a twitter account that tracks changes in WhatsApp's beta builds , the developers mistakenly enebled the feature.
- WhatsApp developers highlight that the "Reply privately" feature will be available only in group-chat for the time being and will be included in the small menu which pops-up whenever a user press and hold on a messege in group-chat.
